Accessing the solar website:

Wilderland has two websites, one always-on, higher resolution website that is heavier to run, and one experimental, situated site, that is solar powered, and in the Nephin Park

The solar site might not always be on or available, it also has other quirks, and will be slower. Adjust your expectactions for this Permacomputing + Small Web alternative.

TASC Community Conversations Mulranny: morning session

DATE: 5 Feb, 2025
TIME: 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Join TASC for our Community Conversations as part of the Mulranny People's Transition.

The People’s Transition is a participative decision-making model developed by TASC - Ireland’s Think-Tank for Action on Social Change - that views climate action as an enabler of local development. By bringing together climate justice, community development, and participatory democratic processes, we demonstrate how citizen engagement and cultural change processes are stronger, fairer, and more sustainable if they involve grassroots climate action.

We have been talking to people in Mulranny and the wider electoral division of Newport West to understand challenges that local people face and identify solutions to theses challenges. It is hoped these solutions can provide future social, economic and environmental benefits to you and your local community. These community conversations will be an important part of this process.

All welcome.

FREE entry.
No registration required.

Mulranny People’s Transition is facilitated by TASC as part of the Wilderland public art and climate action project, funded by Creative Ireland’s Creative Climate Action Fund.
